When I was a wee lad sitting at home, I watched The Jetsons, a futuristic rip-off of The Flinstones. George Jetson and family lived in the sky, speeding about in flying saucers. I remember going to Disneyland and heading straight to Tomorrowland (after hitting the Materhorn), and being dazzled by the TWA Moonliner ride and Monsanto’s House of the Future.

Vatican Closes Limbo, Hell Due for Refurb

Pope Benedict XVI is expected to announce soon the closure of Limbo, the First Circle of Hell. In deliberations begun by his predecessor, John Paul II, the International Theological Commission is expected to reject the idea of Limbo, transferring all the unbaptized deceased newborns and infants, who had previously populated part of Limbo, directly into Heaven.
